So, this is a story by Olivia, my granddaughter, almost four years old. Since she lives far from me, her father and mother write down as she dictates her story (usually after she draws a picture). Then they email it to me and I glue it, along with the drawing, into a book. We’re now on volume 2. I like to read this story and think about Olivia’s thinking and imagination. I’m so glad that the “nice guy” brought the baby back!
And then teachers have a wonderful record of children’s thinking and how they sort things out. It makes for great discussions among teachers and with parents too!
I love that you are saving all of them in a book. That’s a treasure she’ll enjoy, appreciate and
love as she grows up.
Yes and I think it’s something that can be done in preschools, schools and child care centers too.
